A pirates open world: Sail across a broad Caribbean, command and customize your ship, raid enemy vessels, hunt for treasure, explore islands and coastal cities, and dive among wrecks. On land, combine stealth, swordplay, firearms, and free-running while meeting legendary pirates and uncovering the ambitions that shape the era. Every voyage can become a fight, a chase, or an opportunity to explore.

Edward Kenway's legend: Follow Edward as his choices pull him between pirate freedom and an ancient struggle that threatens the people around him. With a rich world, naval combat, varied activities, and a focused story campaign supported by optional online play, Black Flag delivers a distinctive adventure on land and sea.
