Game Review

Bloodborne: Game of the Year Edition is a gothic action RPG for PlayStation 4 set in the cursed city of Yharnam. As a Hunter, enter streets filled with illness, beasts, and unsettling mysteries while searching for the source of the nightmare.

Gameplay and features: Fast, aggressive combat combines firearms, transforming weapons, dodges, and the Rally system, which rewards a Hunter who strikes back after taking damage. Explore interconnected districts, uncover shortcuts, and challenge optional Chalice Dungeons alone or with other players. The Game of the Year Edition also includes The Old Hunters expansion with new areas, weapons, and encounters.

Story and world: Yharnam hides a conflict involving blood, healing, forbidden knowledge, and forces beyond human understanding. Its oppressive atmosphere, demanding battles, and layered lore make Bloodborne a distinctive PS4 experience for players who enjoy dark fantasy, exploration, and deliberate action RPG combat.
