Game Review

The Pathless is a mythic action adventure about an archer known as the Hunter and an eagle companion travelling across a vast forest. A curse of darkness has gripped the world, leading the journey to a mystical island where movement, discovery, and companionship are central.

Gameplay and features: Use a fluid archery system to fire while moving at high speed, build momentum across the landscape, and perform acrobatics through valleys, ruins, and open woodland. The eagle companion helps the Hunter travel and explore, while environmental challenges and corrupted spirits test timing and courage. Movement and archery work together as one flowing skill.

The Hunter must dispel the darkness and confront the Godslayer before the world is destroyed. Exploration, precise trick shots, open-world discovery, and the growing bond with the eagle form an atmospheric single-player adventure on PlayStation 4.
