Under The Waves is a narrative-driven exploration game set in an underwater environment that combines atmospheric storytelling with exploration mechanics. The core experience focuses on uncovering personal and environmental narratives while navigating submerged locales.

The game places the player in introspective scenarios where dialogue, found documents, and environmental details reveal a layered story. Exploration emphasizes slow-paced investigation, immersion in marine settings, and gradual revelation of plot threads.

This entry concerns the PS4 version; platform-specific performance and feature details should be read in that context.
