Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag

Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag is a third-person open-world action adventure developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3. It follows Edward Kenway, a pirate and privateer drawn into the conflict between Assassins and Templars in the Caribbean.

Players sail between islands, explore settlements, climb and freerun, use stealth and weapons, hunt, upgrade the Jackdaw, and take part in naval battles and boarding actions. The PS3 release combines a story campaign with online competitive modes inspired by the series’ movement and combat systems.

The game supports a one-player campaign and online multiplayer for up to eight players from a behind-the-character viewpoint. Its ship customization, sea exploration, pirate economy, underwater dives, and Caribbean atmosphere give the PS3 entry a distinctive maritime identity.
