Assassin's Creed

Assassin’s Creed is a third-person action adventure developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3. It follows Desmond Miles as he experiences the memories of Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, an assassin operating during the Third Crusade.

Players move through historical cities using parkour, stealth, social blending, investigation, and precise combat before carrying out assassination objectives. Open districts, rooftop routes, crowds, and optional tasks support different approaches to each target.

The PS3 release is a single-player experience for one offline player viewed from behind the character, with no conventional multiplayer mode. Its historical setting, free-running movement, social stealth, target preparation, and signature hidden-blade combat establish the series’ foundation.
