Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for PlayStation 3. Its campaign follows British SAS and U.S. Marine perspectives through a single modern-war storyline involving covert operations, stolen nuclear weapons, and international terrorism.

Players use modern firearms, explosives, vehicles, cover, flanking, and specialized missions such as AC-130 support and stealth operations. After the campaign, Arcade Mode and a deep class-based multiplayer system add persistent experience, weapons, perks, killstreak rewards, and objective modes across sixteen maps.

The PS3 release supports a single-player campaign and online multiplayer for up to 18 players. Its first-person presentation combines intense firefights, squad-based movement, tactical variety, cinematic sound and visuals, and competitive team play.
