Call of Duty Black Ops 2

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is a first-person shooter developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. Its PlayStation 3 story moves between two time periods as a new generation of warfare emerges from the convergence of technology and advanced robotics.

The campaign introduces new and returning characters, including the villain Raul Menendez, and uses Strike Force missions whose outcomes affect the wider story. A variety of multiplayer modes and play options extends the combat beyond the campaign.

The PS3 release combines covert conflict, near-future weapons, tactical decisions, and competitive play in a first-person format. Its two-era narrative and branching mission consequences give the action-focused campaign a distinct identity within the Black Ops series.
