Call of Duty Ghosts

Call of Duty: Ghosts is a first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for PlayStation 3. Its campaign follows a specialized Ghosts unit defending the United States after a devastating global event and a new enemy changes the balance of power.

The game combines a single-player campaign with competitive multiplayer in which players customize their soldier and squad. Its Extinction mode is a four-player cooperative survival experience that mixes fast combat with base defense, objectives, and progression.

The PS3 release presents the campaign and online multiplayer through a first-person viewpoint, with Extinction providing a separate cooperative challenge. Its realistic environments, squad customization, tactical gunplay, and alien-survival mode give the series a distinct near-future military identity.
