Devil May Cry HD Collection

Devil May Cry HD Collection is a PlayStation 3 compilation and enhanced re-release of three action games originally made for PlayStation 2: Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition. Pipeworks Software, Inc. handled the PS3 version and Capcom published the collection, bringing Dante’s demon-hunting adventures together in one package.

The collection follows Dante and other playable or story characters such as Trish, Lady, Lucia, and Vergil through stylish third-person action built around swords, guns, evasive movement, demon transformations, and long attack strings. Each included game offers its own missions, enemies, environments, and combat emphasis, while Devil May Cry 3 adds selectable styles and unlockable techniques.

This is a single-player compilation with no online multiplayer; the PS3 edition presents the three PS2 adventures in higher-definition output and includes modes and extras such as Bloody Palace where supported by the individual game. Its appeal comes from revisiting the series’ gothic demon battles, responsive controls, varied weapons, and demanding style-focused encounters in a consolidated PS3 release.
