Driver casts the player as an undercover wheelman navigating a dangerous criminal world through cinematic car chases. The PlayStation 3 record presents a focused driving experience built around powerful cars, urban routes and tense getaway work.

Gameplay and features: Master responsive vehicles, complete pursuit and escape missions, and use realistic handling, damage and environmental routes to outmaneuver opponents. A replay and director-style mode adds another way to study and present the most dramatic chases. Precision driving and timing are central to every successful getaway.

Presentation and identity: The game draws on Hollywood crime-film imagery, recognizable city streets and a single-player campaign led by an undercover driver. Developed by Reflections Interactive and published by GT Interactive, it established the series' signature blend of driving skill, pursuit pressure and cinematic atmosphere.
