F.E.A.R.

F.E.A.R. follows an elite operative investigating a supernatural crisis while an unsettling presence turns a military mission into a psychological nightmare. The PlayStation 3 record combines first-person shooting with horror and suspense.

Gameplay and features: Move through industrial environments, use firearms and tactical movement, fight hostile soldiers and paranormal threats, and rely on slow-motion focus to survive intense encounters. Close-quarters battles and sudden supernatural events keep the player alert as the investigation unfolds. Careful use of focus can create a brief advantage when the battlefield becomes overwhelming.

Presentation and identity: Dark corridors, sharp combat effects and an atmosphere of sustained tension define the game's horror-shooter character. Developed by Day 1 Studios and published by Vivendi Games, it frames a military operation through a disturbing supernatural mystery.
