Gran Turismo 4

Gran Turismo 4 is a detailed driving simulation built around authentic cars, circuits and handling. It invites players to develop as drivers through a large collection of road and race cars, carefully modeled courses and a progression designed around improving technique.

Gameplay and features: Race on varied circuits, tune and select cars, complete license tests, enter structured events, manage a career and use B-Spec and Photo modes to approach the experience in different ways. Local play supports up to six players, while the driving model rewards braking control, cornering lines and smooth acceleration. Practice, vehicle choice and consistency are central to advancement.

Presentation and identity: Detailed cars, carefully scanned track environments, force-feedback support and a broad selection of events give the game its simulation character. Polyphony Digital developed it and SCEA published the PlayStation 2 release.
