Resident Evil: Revelations 2 – PS3 Episodic Survival Horror - Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is an episodic survival horror action-adventure game developed and published by Capcom for PlayStation 3. Claire Redfield awakens on a remote island after being abducted, while Barry Burton arrives searching for his missing daughter Moira and encounters Natalia Korda.

Terror, investigation, and survival: A tense campaign built around two-character teamwork: Explore abandoned facilities, search for supplies, evade or fight mutated creatures, and switch between characters whose different abilities reveal clues and create new ways through dangerous areas. The third-person perspective combines careful exploration, resource management, combat, and environmental problem-solving across an episodic island setting.

A story of fear and memory: Campaign episodes and additional modes: Follow Claire and Moira, then Barry and Natalia, as their paths uncover a bioterror threat and the history of the island. The PS3 release includes campaign episodes, a separate Raid Mode, and a darker atmosphere supported by the official soundtrack from the Capcom Sound Team. The most important factor is the system firmware version. Versions 4.90 and below are the easiest and most common.

3. Is the PS3 jailbreak permanent like CFW?

Yes, the PS3 jailbreak with CFW is permanent on most consoles (Fat and Slim). Super Slim consoles rely on HEN which is temporary.

4. What is HEN in the context of PS3 modding?

HEN is a homebrew enabler that runs after the exploit, enabling additional permissions and allowing unofficial apps and tools on Super Slim consoles.

5. Can I play online multiplayer games after jailbreaking?

Technically yes, but with extreme caution. Connecting to PSN can lead to bans. There are private servers and alternative projects, but they are not official PSN.
