Tomb Raider II

Tomb Raider II sends Lara Croft on a larger expedition through ancient ruins, urban locations and dangerous rival encounters. The PlayStation 3 record builds on the original three-dimensional adventure with a broader journey and more varied environments.

Gameplay and features: Traverse platforms, solve environmental puzzles, search for hidden routes, use vehicles in selected areas and fight guards and creatures with a flexible arsenal. Exploration, timing and careful movement remain central to reaching each objective. Observing the environment before moving forward helps reveal both secrets and hazards.

Presentation and identity: The mix of archaeological mystery, globe-spanning locations and athletic traversal gives the sequel a confident adventure character. Developed by Core Design Ltd. and published by Eidos Interactive, it expands Lara Croft's signature exploration-and-action formula.
