Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider introduces Lara Croft in a three-dimensional action-adventure built around ancient ruins, hidden chambers and dangerous expeditions. The PlayStation 3 record follows her across remote locations where exploration and combat are closely connected.

Gameplay and features: Explore layered environments, solve environmental puzzles, traverse platforms, find hidden paths and use weapons against hostile creatures and guards. Progress depends on observation, controlled movement and combining traversal skills with careful combat. A patient search often reveals the safest route through each ruin.

Presentation and identity: Atmospheric ruins, acrobatic movement and a determined treasure hunter define the games adventurous identity. Developed by Core Design Ltd. and published by Eidos Interactive, it established the series signature blend of exploration, puzzles and action.
