Transformers War for Cybertron

Transformers: War for Cybertron is a third-person action shooter set on the Transformers’ home planet during the final moments of the civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons. The PlayStation 3 campaign explores a conflict that will determine the survival of the Transformers race.

Gameplay and features: Move instantly between robot and vehicle forms while fighting across war-ravaged 3D environments with a diverse high-tech arsenal. Story missions support drop-in and drop-out online co-op, while competitive modes allow players to create and customize a Transformers character. Escalation adds four-player online survival battles against increasing waves of enemies, rewarding coordinated teamwork.

Story and world: Cybertron is shown at the heart of its own mythology, where both factions struggle for control of a collapsing home. Separate Autobot and Decepticon perspectives frame a large-scale mechanical war before the race’s eventual exodus, giving the campaign a distinct pre-Earth setting.
