I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream

I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream is a psychological horror adventure game based on Harlan Ellison’s award-winning short story.

Set in a dystopian future where a malevolent supercomputer named AM has exterminated humanity, only five survivors remain, trapped and tortured for eternity. Each character must confront their deepest fears and moral failings through nightmarish scenarios designed by AM itself.

Gameplay focuses on point-and-click exploration, dialogue choices, and solving morally challenging puzzles that test the player’s empathy and judgment. Every decision affects the story’s outcome, leading to multiple possible endings.

The game’s remastered release includes enhanced graphics, modern compatibility, and full voice acting, featuring Harlan Ellison himself as the voice of AM. A dark, thought-provoking masterpiece, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream remains one of the most disturbing and intellectually powerful adventure games ever created.
