Game Review

MediEvil is a darkly humorous action adventure for PlayStation 4 that brings the skeletal knight Sir Daniel Fortesque back to the kingdom of Gallowmere. Raised from the grave, Daniel must face the forces threatening the realm while confronting the legend built around his past.

Gameplay and features: Explore atmospheric stages, solve environmental puzzles, battle creatures, and use a varied collection of weapons suited to different encounters. The adventure combines platforming, light role-playing progression, hidden paths, and collectible challenges, while the rebuilt presentation gives the classic world a fresh visual identity. Finding lost souls and collecting chalices rewards careful exploration beyond the main route.

Story and atmosphere: Gallowmere mixes gothic scenery, playful horror, and black comedy through eccentric characters and theatrical locations. Daniel’s unlikely return creates a memorable journey for players who enjoy classic action adventures, puzzle solving, fantastical combat, and humorous storytelling on PlayStation 4.
