Assassin's Creed Rogue

Assassins Creed Rogue is a third-person open-world action adventure developed by Ubisoft Sofia and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3. It follows Shay Cormac, an Assassin who becomes a Templar after a mission changes his view of the Brotherhood.

Players sail through the North Atlantic, explore icy shores and river valleys, use stealth and firearms, hunt, upgrade the Morrigan, and pursue former allies across a connected open world. The game revisits characters and locations from earlier entries while presenting the conflict from a Templar perspective.

The PS3 release is a single-player experience for one offline player viewed from behind the character, without conventional multiplayer. Its northern maritime setting, ice navigation, ship combat, air rifle, and reversal of the usual Assassin viewpoint give it a distinctive role in the series.
