Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 is a first-person shooter developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 3. Its single-player campaign follows modern soldiers through a series of international military operations.

The game combines campaign missions with cooperative challenges and a large competitive multiplayer suite built around classes, vehicles, destructible environments, and objective-based battles. Infantry, armor, aircraft, and squad coordination shape the experience across varied urban and combat environments.

The PS3 release supports one-player campaign action, online co-op features, and console multiplayer matches for up to 24 players. Its first-person presentation emphasizes combined-arms tactics, cinematic set pieces, responsive gunplay, and persistent class progression.
