Call of Duty Classic is a first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for PlayStation 3. It presents the original Call of Duty’s World War II campaign across Allied operations in Europe.

Players fight through infantry missions using period weapons, grenades, cover, and objective-based combat while moving through historically inspired battlefields. The campaign is structured as a focused single-player military shooter with mission briefings and a demanding difficulty curve.

The PS3 release is centered on single-player action from a first-person viewpoint. Its classic World War II scenarios, direct gunplay, and compact mission design preserve the foundation of the original Call of Duty experience.
