A photographer enters a haunted dream. Fatal Frame III: The Tormented follows Rei Kurosawa, a freelance photographer haunted by the death of her fiancé after a disturbing assignment in a haunted house. Her recurring nightmare draws her into a mystery involving a spreading tattoo, restless spirits, and connections to the earlier Fatal Frame stories.

The Camera Obscura turns fear into defense. Players explore haunted locations, solve environmental puzzles, and switch among Rei, Miku, and Kei, each with different abilities.
