Onimusha Warlords

Face the demons of feudal Japan in Onimusha: Warlords. This survival-action adventure follows Samanosuke Akechi as he enters Inabayama Castle to rescue Princess Yuki and confront the demonic forces behind a series of disappearances. Historical figures, supernatural enemies, tense castle corridors, and a focused cinematic presentation shape the single-player journey.

Sword combat, magic, and soul absorption drive progression. Players wield several weapons, unleash elemental magic, solve environmental puzzles, and perform precise counterattacks against demons. Samanosuke’s gauntlet absorbs defeated enemies’ souls, which can restore health, strengthen weapons and items, and help the player survive increasingly dangerous encounters.

PS2-to-PS3 catalogue entry. Onimusha: Warlords was first released on PlayStation 2 and is presented here as a single-player, third-person survival-action game.
