Wolfenstein - The New Order

Wolfenstein: The New Order imagines a 1960 in which Nazi Germany won the Second World War and reshaped the globe under an oppressive regime. Captain B.J. Blazkowicz awakens after years away from the fight and joins a desperate resistance against General Deathshead and his mechanized forces.

Gameplay and features: Use first-person gunplay, dual-wield weapons, stealth takedowns, alternate routes, futuristic technology and a skill system unlocked through combat actions while infiltrating hostile facilities. The single-player campaign combines firefights with exploration, character scenes and a consequential early choice that supports repeated playthroughs. Weapon handling, stealth and movement define the approach to every encounter.

Presentation and identity: Alternate-history cities, resistance hideouts, imposing machines and carefully written characters give The New Order a cinematic identity. MachineGames developed the PlayStation 3 title and Bethesda Softworks published it.
