Game Review

Armored Core 3 — a 2002 third-person mecha shooter developed by FromSoftware for PlayStation 2. It is the sixth entry in the Armored Core series and serves as a reboot that begins a storyline continuing through Armored Core: Last Raven. This record is the original PS2 game converted to PS3, not a separate modern PS3 release.

The game centers on piloting an Armored Core machine through futuristic combat missions. Its third-person presentation places the player behind a customizable mecha while the campaign builds on the series’ mechanized warfare and tactical action.

Armored Core 3 was later ported to PlayStation Portable in 2009. The PS2 version remains a legacy PS2-to-PS3 conversion focused on third-person shooter gameplay and FromSoftware’s Armored Core universe. Developer: FromSoftware.
